Chiellini confirmed this while speaking at the Social Football Summit, as shared by Fabrizio Romano on his official X account.

Fabrizio Romano posted:

Juventus’ Head of Football Operations Giorgio Chiellini: We are working on new deal for Kenan Yildiz, so keep calm. The intention from all sides is the same, we plan to continue together.

Yildiz’s current contract runs until June 2029, giving Juventus leverage to shape the negotiations. The 20-year-old Turkish forward has drawn attention from top European clubs, including Chelsea, Arsenal, and Real Madrid. Juventus recently ended a winless run with a 3-1 victory over Udinese, as reported by SoftFootball.

The club sees Yildiz as central to their long-term rebuild, especially with potential exits like Dusan Vlahovic still unresolved. Juventus previously rejected a €65–68 million bid from Chelsea in July 2025, signalling he is not for sale.

Yildiz has also impressed on the international stage, including in Turkey’s World Cup qualifiers, which adds to his growing value. The club is confident a new deal, possibly running to 2030, will secure his future while keeping European suitors at bay.

Yildiz joined Juventus from Bayern Munich’s youth academy in 2022 and quickly rose through the ranks. He made his senior debut in November 2023 and has since recorded 32 appearances, scoring four goals and providing one assist across Serie A and Coppa Italia.

Chiellini, who previously encouraged him to extend his contract for five years during EURO 2024, continues to champion his development as a symbol of Juventus’ youth-focused strategy.

European giants remain interested, with Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso praising Yildiz as one of the most promising players in Europe. Arsenal and Manchester United are monitoring his situation, but Chelsea remains the most aggressive.

Juventus’ approach is to maintain calm, focus on internal negotiations, and ensure the young talent remains part of their project, while external pressure grows.

Yildiz’s contract talks underscore Juventus’ broader strategy to nurture young talent and strengthen the squad during a transitional period that has already seen three managerial changes in 2025. The club is optimistic an agreement can be reached without rushing, keeping a vital asset at the heart of their rebuild.
