Captain William Troost-Ekong, Wilfred Ndidi, Alex Iwobi and seven others have arrived the Super Eagles of Nigeria camp ahead of the FIFA World Cup play-off, Softfootball reports.
Ndidi, who joined Besiktas this summer from Leicester City anchored the midfield at the weekend as they defeated Antalyaspor 3-1 away from home to move into sixth spot in the Turkish Super Lig with 20 points after 12 matches so far while Ekong wasinvolved for his Saudi Pro League club Al-Kholood as they wer thrashed 4-0 by Al Qadsiah FC.

Announcing the arrival of the players via ifs official X handle, the Super Eagles have 10 players available to Coach Eric Chelle and more are expected later today.

The Super Eagles are currently staying in a hotel in Rabat, Morocco and welcomed the trio of Calvin Bassey, Alex Iwobi and Samuel Chukwueze after they played in Fulham’s 2-0 defeat to Everton at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Saturday evening.

The three-time African champions get in the mood for a potentially-explosive Play-off semi-final clash with the Panthers of Gabon at the Complexe Sportif Prince Heritier Moulay Al Hassan on Thursday evening, starting 5pm Morocco time (same as in Nigeria).
Cameroon and the Democratic Republic of Congo clash in the other semi-final, with the two finalists to battle it out at the Complexe Sportif Prince Heritier Moulay Al Hassan on Sunday evening, for Africa’s lone ticket to the Intercontinental Playoffs in Mexico next year.
