Nigerian trio, Alex Iwobi, Calvin Bassey and Samuel Chukwueze has reacted to the defeat against Everton at the weekend, Softfootball reports.
The Toffees won 2-0 against Fulham in a keenly contested match at the Hill Dickinson stadium after losing their last home game 3-0 against Tottenham. Fulham dropped to 15th on the premier league table with 11 points after the loss while Everton moved into 13th with 15 points after 11 matches so far this season.

In an interview after the encounter shared via the official X handle of Kelechi Anyikude, working with SportyTV. Iwobi said:
Not the result we wanted to have going into the international break but I think this international break will come and we will take our time to cool off and come back again even stronger.
Chukwueze, who joined Fulham on transfer deadline in the summer, played as a striker in the game against Everton and he revealed that it is not strange to him as he represented Villareal in some matches as the front man. He added:
We just keep training hard and focus on the next game. I played as a striker when I was in Villarreal and it was good but today, I was looking for the ball but its okay. Its part of the game when they need someone to be in that position, you have to step up but it was a difficult one to take. So, I think, we have to focus on the next game.

Super Eagles defender, Calvin Bassey was more reserved and spoke calmly after the defeat. Here is the video of the interview as shared by the same medium above.

The trio have been invited by the Super Eagles manager, Eric Chelle for the all-important World Cup play-offs against Gabon this month. Nigeria finished second behind South Africa in Group C and will need to go through the play-offs to reach the Mundial while Bafana Bafana picked the automatic ticket.
Cameroon and DR Congo will contest in the second play-off match and the winner will play either Nigeria or Gabon in the final. And the winners will represent Africa in the world play-off from where two teams will qualify for the World Cup to be hosted by the United States, Mexico and Canada.
