Julian Brandt scored from a clever Julian Ryerson’s cross in the 84th minute to make it 2-1 but Bayern Munich held on for the win.
Bayern have maintained a perfect start in the Bundesliga with seven consecutive wins and have 21 points on top of the table while Dortmund are fourth with 14 points.
