Nuno Espirito Santo kicked off his career at West Ham with a 1-1 draw against Everton at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, Softfootball reports.
The Hammers have struggled for form this season and their only win was away against the same manager when he was manager at Nottingham Forest. West Ham beat Forest 3-0 on the day.

England international, Jarrod Bowen earned a point for West Ham with a second half equalizer after Michael Keane had scored an early opener for Everton with a super header from James Garner’s cross.

Everton enjoyed a better first half with Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Jack Grealish enjoying freedom and dictating play. The former Leicester City mifielder, Dewsbury-Hall went close but his header went narrowly wide.
The Toffees were unable to take advantage of their early dominance and Bowen made them pay in the second half when he found space inside the box and his vicious left-footed shot that deflection off Keane before resting at the back of the net.
Everton’s official X handle shared the result of the encounter after the match.

Nuno will be happy with how his team played in his first game in-charge especially after their early setback. Despite the draw, the Hammers are still second from bottom with just four point while Everton move up the table to ninth place with eight points.
