Lamine Yamal was at his blistering best as Barcelona thrashed Serie A side Como 5-0 to win the annual Joan Gamper Trophy, Softfootball reports.
The Italian side have earned rave reviews following their exploits under former Barcelona midfielder, Cesc Fabregas but they were no match for Hansi Flick’s side as they were down 4-0 in the first 45 minutes.

In an incredible show of professionalism and skills dexterity, Barcelona came out flying in the pre-season friendly played at the Estadi Johan Cruyff.
Fermín López opened scoring from the edge of the box after a Como defender’s loose pass fell to him. He just guided the ball home with ease to open scoring in the 20th minute.
Fifteen minutes later, Fermin was on hand again to score. It was almost from the same spot as the first when he received the ball from Dutch international Frenkie de Jong and coolly powered into the top left corner, leaving the goalkeeper with absolutely no chance to save it. Fermin picked up the Man-of-the-Match award.
Barcelona began to run riot at this time as on loan Manchester United forward, Marcus Rashford picked up the ball from midfield and made a one-two with Fermin who released him into space and the England international squared the ball for former Leeds United star, Raphinha who finished from three yards out to make it 3-0.
Flick’s men did not slow down as they continued dominating their opponents and just before half-time Lamine Yamal joined in on the goals with a simple tap-in from the near post to make it 4-0.
It was game over at the restart as Ferran Torres played a sumptuous pass to Yamal and he drove a left foot finish past the goalkeeper to make it 5-0 and an easy win against a very tricky opponent.
