Manchester United are reportedly keeping a close eye on 26-year-old Brazilian midfielder, Gabriel Sara with the Premier League giants considering a summer move for the Galatasaray star.

With Casemiro entering the latter stages of his career, the club is now exploring fresh options and, sources has indicated to Softfootball that Sara is now a target for Red Devils.

Gabriel Sara has come leaps and bounds since joining Galatasaray from Norwich City last summer. The 26-year-old hit the ground running in his debut season, making his mark with his ability to reprise multiple roles in the middle of the park.
He contributed to 12 goals in 45 appearances across all competitions by finding the back of the net two times and providing ten assists.
Meanwhile, Sara’s progress has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several well-known clubs across Europe. Sara, who has been described as ‘magical’ for his performances, has emerged as a top midfielder during his time in Turkey after helping the Istanbul giants to claim yet another Turkish league title in 2024/25.
But now the player is said to be open to returning to England to play in the Premier League amid interest from Old Trafford, and United have set aside €30m (£26m) to get a deal done for the 26-year-old.
Galatasaray don’t want to sell but would be open to his exit for the right price, even though they’d rather not lose him to a team they consider to be ‘arch-rivals’ like Man Utd. However, a last minute development means he could very well be on his way to Man United.
