Nigeria Super Eagles goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo delivered a man‑of‑the‑match performance as Charlton defeated West Ham 2–1 in their matchday two Championship fixture.
Softfootball gathered that Okonkwo made eight saves to help his side secure all three points. He produced stops in the 38th, 45th, 55th, 60th, 68th, 74th, 74th and 77th minutes, keeping Charlton ahead in a tightly contested match.
Recall, Arthur Okonkwo only joined Charlton two days ago from Wrexham, after the Welsh side decided not to include him in their plans for the 2026–27 season, despite him making 39 appearances, 114 saves, and keeping nine clean sheets.
