Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe says he has learned to embrace the enormous pressure that comes with playing for one of the biggest clubs in world football.
The France international faced intense scrutiny during the early stages of his Real Madrid career, with questions raised about his ability to adapt to the expectations surrounding the Spanish giants.
However, Mbappe insists that pressure motivates him to improve and give his best for the club. He said:
I enjoy the pressure and I need it to play well and make sacrifices for the team.
The former Paris Saint-Germain star also acknowledged the support he has received from Madrid supporters since joining the club, saying the combination of pressure and affection has helped drive him.
Mbappe added that he remains focused on improving every day in training and using his qualities to contribute to Real Madrid’s success.
The forward is expected to play a major role in the club’s pursuit of domestic and European honours as he continues to settle into life at the Santiago Bernabeu.
