Softfootball can confirm Everton have reached an agreement with Arsenal for the signing of Christian Nørgaard.
The Danish midfielder has agreed to the move, with Arsenal set to receive £7 million from Everton. The deal is now fully agreed, with Nørgaard expected to undergo his medical before the transfer is officially completed.
The departure is expected to accelerate Arsenal’s pursuit of Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimarães, with the Gunners now pushing to finalise a deal for one of Mikel Arteta’s priority targets.
Nørgaard’s exit comes just a year after completing his £15 million move from Brentford to Arsenal in July 2025.

The Denmark international wore the No. 16 shirt during his spell at the Emirates, but after just one season he is now set for a new challenge with Everton as Arsenal reshape their midfield ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
