Sunderland round off their pre-season tour of the United States when they face ambitious Championship side Wrexham at Subaru Park in Pennsylvania.
Sunderland suffered defeats to Liverpool and Leeds United and will be eager to finish the tour on a positive note before returning to Europe for friendlies against Lens and Rennes.
Wrexham have also impressed during pre-season. Phil Parkinson’s men earned victories over Manchester United and Leeds United after opening with a draw against Wisla Krakow, before narrowly losing 1-0 to Liverpool. The Welsh side will use this fixture as their final preparation before beginning their competitive campaign in the EFL Cup against Middlesbrough.
