Nigerian referee Eunice Akintoye will be the centre referee for the 2026 WAFCON match between Senegal and Kenya this evening.

Softfootball understands Akintoye is an ex‑footballer, a University of Lagos graduate in Human Kinetics, and also a graduate of the National Institute for Sports, where she completed Advanced Coaching and Training. Beyond football, she is a photographer and CEO of Misy Photography Studio.
Her refereeing journey began while she was a student at the National Institute for Sports, an interest that later grew into a serious professional path.
