Kilmarnock started brightly, racing into a 2-0 lead with quick strikes in the 11th and 14th minutes. Rangers struggled to find their rhythm early on, but Dessers broke the deadlock in the 53rd minute to level the score at 2-2. The momentum shifted firmly in favor of the home side after that equalizer.
Just nine minutes later, Dessers struck again. His second goal in the 62nd minute put Rangers ahead 3-2, completing his personal turnaround and sparking a comeback.
The Glasgow giants added a fourth late on to seal the victory, though the defensive lapses that allowed two early goals will remain a concern for the management.
The win keeps Rangers in second place with 59 points, although they remain 13 points behind league leaders Celtic, who have 72 points. For Dessers, the performance was a welcome return to form. He now has 10 goals and two assists in 25 Scottish Premiership appearances this season, bringing his total across all competitions to 17.
