Tosin Adarabioyo has expressed his delight after scoring his first Premier League goal for Chelsea in their 3-1 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers at Stamford Bridge.
The Nigerian defender opened the scoring for Enzo Maresca’s side, with Marc Cucurella and Noni Madueke also finding the net as Chelsea secured an important victory.
The result, which Softfootball reported as a major boost for the Blues, moved Chelsea up to fourth place in the Premier League table.
Adarabioyo has now scored four goals this season, with three of them coming in his last four games. The centre-back was pleased to contribute to the team’s attacking efforts.
The defender also praised Trevoh Chalobah following his return to the starting lineup, while offering support to goalkeeper Robert Sanchez after Wolves scored late in the first half.
Chelsea responded strongly after the break to secure all three points and end their recent difficult run.
Adarabioyo will now hope to maintain his impressive form as Chelsea continue their push for a strong finish to the Premier League season.
