Ademola Lookman won’t come cheap if Atalanta have their way. The Italian club are reportedly demanding €50 million for the Nigerian winger ahead of next summer’s window.

It’s a valuation built on a strong run of form. Lookman has eight goals and five assists in 14 appearances this season, continuing where he left off after a Europa League final hattrick against Bayer Leverkusen last term and a 14th-place finish in the 2024 Ballon d’Or standings.

Softfootball gathered that the current price reflects just how far his stock has risen since , Atalanta signed him from RB Leipzig for a modest €9.3 million in 2022 a fee that now looks like one of Serie A’s great bargains.

His path in Bergamo hasn’t been entirely smooth, though. Lookman pushed for a switch to Paris Saint-Germain over the summer before being reintegrated into Gian Piero Gasperini’s plans. His contract runs until 2026, with Atalanta holding an option to extend it a further year and raise his salary to €2 million per season.

With his form back on track, Atalanta appear to have no intention of letting him leave on the cheap.
