Tottenham Hotspur striker Dominic Solanke has expressed his satisfaction after scoring twice in his side’s impressive 4-1 comeback victory over Aston Villa in Sunday’s Premier League clash, Softfootball reports.
The England international played a starring role as Spurs continued their excellent run of form, having also knocked Manchester City out of the Carabao Cup earlier in the week.
Villa took an early lead, but Tottenham responded brilliantly after the break with a dominant second-half display to secure all three points.

Reflecting on the performance, Solanke praised his teammates for showing character after conceding first, insisting the squad learned from previous matches where they struggled to recover after falling behind.
The striker explained that Tottenham made important tactical adjustments during the halftime interval, which helped them take control of the game and create numerous scoring opportunities.
Solanke also admitted he was pleased to end his recent goal drought, describing his two-goal performance as a confidence boost after working hard to get back on the scoresheet.
The former Bournemouth forward added that Tottenham possess the attacking quality to score goals against any opponent when they are playing at their best.
He believes consistency will be the key for Ange Postecoglou’s side as they continue their pursuit of a top-four finish and challenge for silverware this season.
The convincing victory further highlighted Tottenham’s attacking strength and resilience, with Solanke’s brace serving as another reminder of his growing importance to the team.
Spurs will now look to build on the momentum from successive victories as they prepare for another crucial run of fixtures in both domestic and European competitions.
