Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi was on target as Fulham battled to a 1-1 draw against Everton in Saturday’s Premier League encounter.
The Nigerian midfielder produced another impressive display against his former club, scoring his second league goal of the season. Softfootball understands that compatriot Calvin Bassey also delivered a solid performance, playing the full 90 minutes to help Fulham earn a valuable point away from home.

Iwobi, making his ninth Premier League appearance of the campaign, broke the deadlock after combining brilliantly with Emile Smith Rowe before firing a clinical finish past England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford at his near post.
The game remained evenly balanced, with both sides creating chances in search of all three points.
Everton thought they had drawn level through Dominic Calvert-Lewin, but the striker’s effort was ruled out for offside following a VAR review.
The hosts continued to push for an equaliser and eventually found one in dramatic fashion when substitute Beto struck deep into stoppage time to rescue a point for Sean Dyche’s side.
Bassey, who was also making his ninth league appearance of the season, put in another composed defensive display despite Fulham conceding late.
The result leaves both teams with a share of the spoils after an entertaining contest at Goodison Park, with Iwobi continuing his encouraging form since joining Fulham.
