Barcelona wonderkid Lamine Yamal has reaffirmed his commitment to the club, declaring that his dream is to become a true legend at the Catalan giants, Softfootball reports.

The 17-year-old, who has enjoyed a remarkable rise with Barcelona and the Spanish national team, said the incredible support he receives from the fans inspires him every time he steps onto the pitch. Softfootball noted that Yamal remains fully focused on building a long-term future at the club and has no intention of leaving anytime soon.

Speaking in an interview with LALIGA World, Yamal admitted the atmosphere at Barcelona’s home matches gives him extra motivation to take on defenders.

He explained that hearing the crowd cheer whenever he gets on the ball fills him with confidence and pushes him to attack with everything he has.

The teenage sensation also revealed his biggest ambition is to leave a lasting legacy at Barcelona.

Yamal said he hopes to be remembered as one of the club’s greatest players, stressing that Barcelona has given him everything since the beginning of his football journey.

The winger added that football and Barcelona are inseparable parts of his life, expressing his desire to spend his entire career with the Blaugrana and continue making history at the club.
