Super Eagles midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru registered an assist as Lazio maintained their perfect start to the UEFA Europa League with a 2-0 away victory over FC Twente on Thursday, Softfootball reports.
The Italian side made it three wins from three matches to move to the top of the 36-team league standings.
Dele-Bashiru capped an impressive outing by setting up Gustav Isaksen for Lazio’s second goal with just three minutes remaining, sealing an important away victory. Former Barcelona and Spain forward Pedro had opened the scoring in the 35th minute.

Twente’s task became even more difficult after goalkeeper Lars Unnerstall was sent off just 11 minutes into the contest.
In Turkey, Bright Osayi-Samuel featured for Fenerbahce in their entertaining 1-1 draw against Manchester United. Christian Eriksen gave the visitors an early lead before Youssef En-Nesyri restored parity for Jose Mourinho’s side.
Osayi-Samuel started the game but was substituted in the 62nd minute. Softfootball gathered that Mourinho was later shown a red card after angrily protesting the referee’s decision not to award Fenerbahce a penalty following a challenge on the Nigerian defender inside the box.
Elsewhere, Samuel Omorodion found the net in Porto’s 2-0 victory over Hoffenheim, while Kevin Akpoguma remained an unused substitute. Chuba Akpom was also on target as Ajax cruised to a 3-0 win over Qarabag.
In France, Gift Orban came off the bench during Lyon’s 1-0 home defeat to Besiktas, Umar Sadiq featured in Real Sociedad’s 2-1 victory over Maccabi Tel Aviv, while Cyriel Dessers played as Rangers recorded an emphatic 4-0 win over FCSB.
