Nigeria could miss out on the services of striker Samu Omorodion, who is reportedly in line for his first senior Spain call-up for the UEFA Nations League fixtures in November.
Softfootball added that Spain’s search for a long-term successor to Álvaro Morata has boosted Omorodion’s chances after the Porto forward enjoyed a blistering start to the season.

Since joining the Portuguese club from Atlético Madrid, the striker has scored 11 goals, including four in Spain U-21’s victory over Malta.
Although he narrowly missed out on this month’s senior squad, reports claim head coach Luis de la Fuente is considering handing him his maiden call-up for November’s Nations League fixtures against Denmark and Switzerland.
With Spain needing only two draws to secure progression, the relaxed situation could provide De la Fuente with the ideal opportunity to test new faces, while Omorodion’s outstanding form has strengthened his case for a long-awaited senior international debut.
