The Arsenal shot-stopper praised Casillas for his ability to stay focused even when he was not heavily involved in a match.

According to Raya, Casillas had a special quality of appearing at the most important moments to make decisive saves for his team.

He described the former Spain captain as the kind of goalkeeper who could be quiet for most of a game but still step up when his team needed him most.

Raya also spoke about the importance of having a good relationship with fellow goalkeepers in a squad.

He explained that goalkeepers often form a small team within the main team, and that strong relationships between them can help everyone perform better.
