Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has urged his players to become more consistent at Stamford Bridge if they want to remain serious contenders for a top-four finish in the Premier League.
The Blues were held to a draw by 10-man Nottingham Forest on Sunday, a result that kept them fourth in the table but also raised fresh questions about their home form.

Speaking after the match, Maresca said Chelsea did enough to win the game but admitted his side must find a way to turn strong performances into victories at home.
Today we did everything to win the game and we deserved to win the game. Sometimes you don’t score,
Maresca said.
He also compared the match to Chelsea’s earlier home draw against Crystal Palace, insisting there was no clear reason why his side had won more games away than at Stamford Bridge.
We have played four games at home in a row and we have won three and drawn today, so it was a good point,
he added.
Despite the frustration, Maresca’s work at Chelsea continues to attract attention. Reports have linked him with becoming Manchester City manager, with compensation talks said to be ongoing between City and Chelsea over a possible move. Sky Sports reported that Maresca is widely expected to be named as Pep Guardiola’s successor, while The Guardian also reported that City are close to a financial settlement with Chelsea.

The speculation has added another layer to discussions about Maresca’s time at Chelsea. While some supporters remain concerned about missed opportunities, others believe his impact deserves recognition, especially considering the structure, identity, and discipline he has tried to bring to the team.
For now, Maresca’s focus remains on Chelsea’s push for Champions League qualification, and improving results at Stamford Bridge could be vital to achieving that target.
