AC Milan have added Markus Krösche to their list of candidates for the director role, external sources reveal. Krösche, as of Saturday, 13 June 2026, is a respected German football executive and former professional player who currently serves as the Board Member for Sport (Sportvorstand) at Eintracht Frankfurt.
Softfootball understands that Milan are not only searching for a new director as they are also deep in the process of appointing a new manager, despite reports suggesting they are close to Oliver Glasner accepting the job.
However, Milan’s shortlist remains wider than expected. Both Matthias Jaissle and Rúben Amorim who was sacked by Manchester United on January 5, 2026, are still being considered as options to become the club’s next head coach.
