Pep Guardiola has officially said goodbye to Manchester City in an emotional final interview released on the club’s official YouTube channel alongside lifelong City supporter and music icon Noel Gallagher, Softfootball confirms.
The interview marks the conclusion of one of the greatest managerial eras in football history after Guardiola guided City to 20 major trophies across an extraordinary 10-year spell at the Etihad Stadium.
Widely regarded as the club’s greatest-ever manager, Guardiola transformed Manchester City into a global football powerhouse while breaking countless records in England and Europe.

In a fitting full-circle moment, Guardiola’s very first interview after arriving at City in 2016 was also conducted with Gallagher. A decade later, the pair reunited to reflect on the memories, emotions and achievements that defined a historic chapter for the club.
During the conversation, Guardiola discussed the highs, the challenges and the personal meaning behind leading City through one of the most dominant periods English football has ever witnessed.
Pep also talked about Jurgen Klopp saying he’s looking forward to having dinner with his old rival.

We have not been for dinner once but now it is going to happen, The relationship is one of the things I am proud of the most, I would say. They were really, really good but in the moment when they face us they know that is the game that gets the best of them and Anfield. Anfield has a history that no stadium has.
