Chelsea have agreed to sign Valentín Barco from RC Strasbourg Alsace. The player is expected to join Chelsea once final paperwork is completed. Softfootball at the moment do not really know the actual amount it would cost Chelsea to sign him, as this transfer development is not yet finalised.
The question is, is Xabi Alonso the one who pushed this move, as there are strong indications he has always wanted the likes of Enzo Fernández, Moisés Caicedo and Marc Cucurella to remain key players in the club.
With Valentín Barco joining, it means the position of Enzo Fernández, Roméo Lavia, Moisés Caicedo and possibly Andrey Santos will be in contest.
