Beth Mead is back in with us and that’s really positive for the team because of the quality and experience she brings. She’s available for tomorrow and has been working hard to get back to full fitness. Steph Catley, however, is not available yet. She’s progressing, but we’re not going to rush anything we want to make sure she’s fully ready before returning.

Brighton’s recent performances have made them one of the more unpredictable and dangerous sides, especially against top opposition.

Highlighting Brighton’s strengths, she said:

Brighton is a very good team, and what stands out is how brave they are in the way they approach games. They are very convinced in their style both in and out of possession, and they don’t shy away from playing their football. But beyond that, they have real versatility they can adjust their approach depending on the opponent and the situation in the game, and that makes them very difficult to prepare against.

Set pieces remain a key talking point, especially with Brighton’s aerial dominance posing a clear threat.

On defending set pieces, she noted:

It’s always a big part of our preparation, and we’ve spent time analysing both our structure and the opposition’s strengths. Brighton have some very tall players and strong headers of the ball, and we’ve already seen the kind of goals they can score from these situations. We are very aware of what happened in previous matches, and this will definitely be a key area in the game tomorrow.

Changes behind the scenes have also been confirmed, with a coaching departure marking the end of a chapter.

On Chris Bradley leaving the club, she stated:

Chris Bradley is going to leave us at the end of the season. He’ll still be with us for the final weeks, but then he’ll move on to new opportunities. We’re very grateful for everything he’s brought to the teamhis ideas, his work ethic, and the level of detail he’s added have been really valuable. He’s made a strong impact during his time here.

Young players continue to step up, offering a glimpse into Arsenal’s future strength and depth.

Praising a rising talent, she said:

She’s come in and adapted really well, which is not always easy at such a young age, especially moving to a new league and environment. What stands out is how professional she is very humble, but also very confident in her abilities. She’s taken a big step, and we’re really impressed with her not just as a player, but as a person as well.

Softfootball believes Arsenal Women are entering a decisive phase of the season where consistency, adaptability, and mental strength will define their success. With multiple competitions and high expectations, small details especially defensively could make all the difference.

Beyond tactics and results, the coach emphasized the importance of football as an experience for fans.

On football’s identity and connection with supporters, she concluded:

“Football is about entertainment at its core. Yes, it’s a business and a product, but the essence of it is to inspire people and bring joy. When we play, we want fans to connect with what they see how we approach the game, the energy, the commitment. It has to be inspiring and sometimes surprising, but also built on hard work and strong duels. That connection is very important.”
