Chelsea FC have booked their place in the FA Cup final after a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Leeds United at Wembley Stadium, Softfootball reports.

The decisive moment came through Enzo Fernández, whose header proved enough to separate the sides and secure Chelsea’s first goal against Premier League opposition since early March. Goalkeeper Robert Sánchez also played a crucial role, producing key saves to deny Leeds and preserve the narrow lead.

Leeds showed improved urgency after the break, controlling possession and creating chances, but were unable to find a breakthrough as Chelsea held firm to see out the win.

The result sends Chelsea into the final on May 16, where they will face Manchester City, managed by Pep Guardiola, who advanced after defeating Southampton FC.

Fans quickly took to social media to react to both the performance and Chelsea season narrative.

Ashely once again brought arsenal into the picture that they will bottle the league again

Can’t wait to get spanked in the final, If city do a treble again, Arsenal might be the worst bottle job team since the premier league first started.

global insights says the win means nothing if chelsea does not win the trophy against man city

Final secured… but let’s be honest, this means nothing without the trophy. One more step finish it or it’s all wasted.

Caretaker boss Calum McFarlane now has the chance to deliver silverware, offering a remarkable turnaround after recent struggles that saw former manager Liam Rosenior openly criticise the squad earlier in the week.

The now-dismissed Liam Rosenior was highly critical of these Chelsea players after their 3-0 defeat against Brighton earlier in the week, but today they seemed far more resilient.
