Fulham FC have reached a verbal agreement to sign Ricardo Pepi from PSV Eindhoven in a deal worth €36 million, Softfootball reports.
The move marks a significant breakthrough after Fulham’s earlier attempt to sign the United States international collapsed during the January transfer window. At the time, the Premier League club had agreed a €37 million deal with PSV, but the Dutch side pulled out on deadline day due to concerns over squad depth and the lack of a replacement striker.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the development via his X handle, stating that formal steps are expected to follow after both clubs agreed on the package. Personal terms have also been settled, with Pepi likely to undergo his medical at Fulham in the coming days.
Fabrizio’s statement:

Fulham reach verbal agreement to sign Ricardo Pepi from PSV Eindhoven, here we go! Formal steps to follow for €36m package deal agreed between clubs. Personal terms also agreed. Pepi could undergo his medical at Fulham in the upcoming days.
Since joining PSV in 2023, Pepi has developed into a key figure, scoring 39 goals in 95 appearances. Although he only became the club’s main striker this season, his performances have quickly elevated his profile.
Fulham’s renewed pursuit in February has now paid off, with the club finally securing their target as they look to strengthen their attacking options ahead of the new season.
