Bruno Fernandes has expressed pride in helping his teammates after reaching a new milestone in assists during an impressive Premier League campaign.
Speaking about his assist record, the Manchester United captain said he values creating goals for others just as much as scoring himself.
Bruno Fernandes on PL assist record: “I’m more proud and pleased because I did it serving my team-mates”. “Giving joy to the others is also very good”.
Fernandes said in comments shared by football journalist Fabrizio Romano via his X handle.

Following the result, Fernandes now has 16 assists and 10 goals in the 2025/26 Premier League season. His tally leaves him comfortably ahead of other players in the assist rankings while also maintaining a strong goal contribution record.
The midfielder’s outstanding form has fueled suggestions he could win the Premier League Player of the Season award if he maintains his current level.
