Softfootball understands that the Munich-born winger, who holds dual German-Nigerian citizenship, is regarded as one of the most exciting talents in Bayern’s youth setup. Known for his pace, dribbling ability and attacking instincts, Mike has been a standout performer at youth level and is currently valued at around €5 million despite yet to make a senior appearance.
His injury adds to a difficult period for Bayern, who are already dealing with several fitness concerns. Veteran goalkeeper Sven Ulreich recently suffered a right adductor muscle tear during Bayern’s 1–1 Bundesliga draw with Bayer 04 Leverkusen on March 14, 2026, a dramatic match in which the Bavarian side finished with nine players on the pitch.

The goalkeeping department has also been affected, with Manuel Neuer currently sidelined with a calf injury, while Jonas Urbig is also unavailable.
Supporters have taken to social media to wish the young winger a quick recovery, reflecting the growing excitement around his future potential at the club.
