West Ham waiting for Axel Disasi’s greenlight after agreement with Chelsea over loan deal

Ahead of the end of the January transfer window, Axel Disasi is yet to respond to West Ham United’s loan proposal despite the club reaching agreement with Chelsea for the defender, Softfootball reports.

The French defender is surplus to requirement at Stamford Bridge and was again absent as Chelsea come from behind to beat West Ham 3-2 on Saturday in the Premier league Match-Day 24 as they continued their push for a top four fiish.

According to football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle revealed that there’s no issue between Chelsea and West Ham but the Hammers are desperately waiting for a response from the player. He wrote.  

West Ham are waiting for Axel Disasi’s final answer on the transfer after verbal agreement with Chelsea over loan deal.

Chelsea have already loaned out David Datro Fofana to Strasbourg and are hoping to ship out more players before the close of the transfer window later to today, including Axel Disasi.The French defender joined Chelsea from Monaco in August 2023 for £38.5 million on a contract until 2029, making 44 appearances in his first season.

Chelsea are currently fifth on the premier league table with 40 points while West Ham are 18th with 20 points after 24 matches so far this season.
