Chelsea new signing Joao Pedro was at the center of the Blues impressed 5-1 win over West Ham United scoring a goal and adding two assists, Softfootball reports.
Cole Palmer picked up an injury during the warm-up inside the London Stadium and was replaced in the starting line-up by Brazilian wonderkid Estevao Willian.

The largely one-sided derby saw Chelsea take control of the game after Lucas Paqueta gave the home side the lead with a stunning, swerving effort into the net.
The goal came from an Estevao error but he soon settled down to sparkle as compatriot and had a pre-assist Joao Pedro levelled scores with a close-range header from a Marc Cucurella cross.
West Ham thought they had taken the lead when Niclas Fullkrug found the back of the net but defender Jean-Clair Todibo was said to have been marginally offside before crossing to set up the finish. So, with the aid of the Video Assistant Referee (VAR), the goal was ruled out.
Not long after that, Neto gave Chelsea the lead as he volleyed in the 23rd minute while Enzo Fernandez tapped home Estevao’s cross 11 minutes later to make it 3-1.
West Ham manager Graham Potter looked confused against his former club as boos from home fans filled the atmosphere and it was just halftime.
In the second half second half, Moises Caicedo and Trevoh Chalobah both scored from corners after two weak attempts to claim crosses from debutant goalkeeper Mads Hermansen. It was a complete whitewash from Chelsea and it followed the 3-0 defeat by newly promoted Sunderland on the opening day of the Premier league.
Chelsea shared on its official X handle after the game.
