Arsenal’s injury nightmare shows no sign of easing. Leandro Trossard became the latest fitness concern after limping off during Belgium’s Nations League fixture against Israel on Sunday, just 37 minutes in.
Softfootball understands the club had hoped for a clean bill of health once players returned from the international break, especially with Martin Odegaard only just back to full fitness.

Those hopes took a hit instead. Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka had already been withdrawn from England duty over fitness concerns, while Ben White underwent knee surgery during the recent break.
Trossard, who looked reluctant to join attacks before he was eventually replaced by Johan Bakayoko, received treatment from Belgium’s medical staff before being helped off the pitch. The exact nature of the injury hasn’t been confirmed.
With Mikel Arteta already managing a lengthy absentee list, another fitness question mark is the last thing his squad needs heading into a congested fixture run
