The Only Thing I’d Regret for the Rest of My Life Is Not Choosing Man United, says Šeško

Benjamin Šeško’s agent, Elvis Bašanović, has opened up about the mindset behind the striker’s blockbuster move to Manchester United last summer. The Slovenian forward joined the Red Devils for £75 million, choosing United ahead of Newcastle United, who were pushing hard to secure his signature, Softfootball reports

Šeško has unfortunately been ruled out for a few more weeks after sustaining an injury in the 2-2 draw against Tottenham earlier in the season, but his camp has remained vocal about his belief in the project at Old Trafford.

According to Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle, Sesko’s agent Bašanović told Arena Sport about the slovenian feelings about his move to old trafford:

I visited Benjamin in Manchester, asked about Man United choice and he told me… Elvis, the only thing I would regret for the rest of my life would be if I had NOT chosen Manchester United.

According to Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle, the agent also spoke highly about the man leading United’s new era. Bašanović said:

Rúben Amorim is a very honest person, a good man. He is extremely professional. He is a fantastic person, an excellent coach. I think he has his own vision and knows how to take United to the top, but he undoubtedly needs time.

With Šeško fully committed to the United project and Amorim building a new identity for the club, fans are hopeful that the striker’s return from injury will provide the firepower needed to push the team to greater heights this season.
