The Super Eagles of Nigeria have begun preparations for their 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying clash against Madagascar with their first training session in Uyo.
The session took place on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, under the floodlights at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium training pitch as the team stepped up preparations for Friday’s Group D encounter.
Head coach Éric Chelle and his technical crew put the players through their opening workout as Nigeria started work ahead of the important AFCON 2027 qualifier.
The session provided the Super Eagles with an early opportunity to begin fine-tuning their plans for Madagascar as they seek a positive start to their qualifying campaign.
With the opening match drawing closer, Chelle and his coaching staff will continue preparations in the days leading up to the encounter at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.
