After defeating Jamaica 3–0 to win the 2026 Unity Cup in London for the fourth time in the competition’s history, the Super Eagles of Nigeria landed safely in Poland in the early hours of the day, where they were welcomed by the Nigerians in Diaspora Organisation, Poland.
Eric Chelle and his players will face Poland in a friendly match on Wednesday, and as of the time of this report, they have already completed their first training session.





Softfootball can confirm the Super Eagles camp officially opened today, Monday 1st June 2026, in Warsaw, Poland, ahead of the June international friendlies against Poland and Portugal. A total of 18 players have arrived, with 16 of them training this evening.

Sixteen of the early arrivals took part in the team’s first training session under the guidance of head coach Eric Chelle and his coaching staff, as preparations intensified ahead of Wednesday’s clash with Poland.
More players are expected to join the squad before the friendly against Portugal, with Chelle using both fixtures to continue building chemistry within the team and assess his options ahead of the upcoming AFCON qualifiers.
