Marco Silva has hailed Fulham fans after their victory over Burnley in the Match-Day 16 of the premier league, Softfootball reports.
Fulham beat Burnley 3-2 at Turf Moor courtesy goals from Emile Smith Rowe, Calvin Bassey and Harry Wilson while Lesley Ugochukwu and Oliver Sonne scored for the home side.

Speaking after the match in an interview shared on Fulham’s official X handle. Silva said:
Crucial and very, very important to have, to feel them behind us. And as you mentioned, no trains back. I know its going to be tough for them to get back all this way but at least they go with a smile on their faces. They can celebrate four or five hours that they have now back and they are very important for us and they know that.
The rising influence of Samuel Chukwueze continued as he got an assist for Harry Wilson to score Fulham’s third goal in the game and that effectively kill any fightback from the home side.
Marca Silva will be losing his African players for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON). The likes of Chukwueze, Calvin Bassey and Alex Iwobi were named in Nigeria’s 28-man squad for the tournament.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria finished second at the last AFCON competition, which is the biggest in Africa and all three players featured in them prominently.
