Softfootball understands that Serge Gnabry has officially committed his future to Bayern Munich after signing a contract extension that will keep him at the Allianz Arena until 30 June 2028.

Following a recent report that Gnabry was close to signing a new deal with Bayern, the deal, officially confirmed today by sports expert Fabrizio Romano via his official X account, ends months of quiet speculation and secures the German international beyond the expiration of his previous contract, which was due to run out in the summer of 2026.

Serge Gnabry signs a new deal at Bayern until June 2028, confirmed.

Since joining from Werder Bremen in 2017, Gnabry has been a constant presence in Bayern’s most successful modern era. He has made 311 competitive appearances, with over 160 goal contributions.

Along the way, he has collected an impressive list of honours, including six Bundesliga titles, a Champions League crown, the DFB-Pokal, the Club World Cup, and several domestic and European Super Cups.

The 2025–26 season, though, has been particularly important for him. With Jamal Musiala sidelined early, Gnabry stepped up under new head coach Vincent Kompany.
