Italian midfielder, Sandro Tonali is set to consider his future at Newcastle United in the summer, Softfootball reports.
The 25-year-old was heavily linked with a return to Italy with Juventus strongly pushing for his signature but his agent came out to say Tonali wasn’t leaving in January as he is a vital part of Eddie Howe’s side.

According to football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle stated that the player will consider his options at the end of the current football season. He revealed:
Sandro Tonali was never planning an exit in January, it was also impossible on club side with Newcastle. Summer transfer window plans could be different with several clubs keen. Decision time on player side will be ahead of the window.
Tonali will be of the Newcastle side that would face Manchester City tonight in the second leg of the Carabao Cup. The Magpies lost the first leg at home to the Cityzens 2-0 at the Saint James’ Park.

Tonali is a key player for the Italian national team and Serie A fans would love to see him return after his very successful time at AC Milan before leaving for Newcastle United. The Azzurri are in the play-off fighting for a chance to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup to be hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Newcastle United are currently placed 11th with 33 points after 24 matches played so far this season.
