Bukayo Saka has been named UEFA Champions League Player of the Week following his outstanding brace in Arsenal’s 3-0 win over Monaco on Wednesday night.
The England international finished ahead of Antoine Griezmann, Michael Olise, and Marco Bizot to claim the honour, with UEFA confirming the award via their official Champions League social media account.

Softfootball reports that Saka was also included in the Champions League Team of the Week following his impressive performance at the Emirates, capping off another memorable European outing for the Arsenal star.
The winger came close to completing a hat-trick, only for his effort to be credited to Kai Havertz after deflecting in off him for Arsenal’s third goal of the night.
Saka’s display highlighted his growing influence in Mikel Arteta’s side, as he consistently troubled Monaco’s defence with his pace, creativity, and clinical finishing. The award further reflects his excellent form in both domestic and European competitions this season.
The victory moved Arsenal up to third place in the Champions League standings with 13 points, keeping their hopes of a strong finish in the competition firmly on track.
