Softfootball can confirm RC Strasbourg have completed the signing of highly rated centre-back Ibrahima Ba from Portuguese side Famalicão.
The deal has been agreed for a package worth €20 million, including add-ons, with the talented defender successfully completing his medical in France before signing a long-term contract.
Ba arrives as one of Strasbourg’s key defensive additions ahead of the new season, with the club moving quickly to secure his signature amid strong interest in the young centre-back.
The transfer comes just months after Chelsea agreed a deal to sign Valentín Barco from RC Strasbourg Alsace in May 2026. The Argentine is expected to complete his move to Stamford Bridge once the remaining paperwork is finalised.
