Dutch side PSV has this morning called off Ricardo Pepi’s move to Fulham as they could not find a replacement on transfer deadline day, Softfootball reports.
Interestingly, Fulham agreed €37m package deal with PSV just at the weekend but felt the deal would affect them for the reminder of the season if they cannot find a player that could be as important to the team as the United States international.

According to football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle revealed that the deal will no longer hold. He informed:
EXCL: Ricardo Pepi’s potential move to Fulham now called OFF. PSV Eindhoven inform Fulham this morning, no green light despite agreement on €37m package. PSV can’t find a replacement and the deal is not proceeding.
Oscar Bobb already joined Fulham from Manchester City and the Cottagers were hoping to use him alongside Pepi in midfield but that dream pairing by manager, Marco Silva cannot happen for the above reasons.

Pepi is a very key player for PSV and will be one of the most influential players for the United States at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. He was named the 2021 U.S. Soccer Young Male Player of the Year and became the fourth-youngest player to score for the USMNT and was a key contributor in 2022 World Cup Qualifying, netting three goals.
Pepi also represented the U.S. at the U-17 level, including the 2019 Concacaf U-17 Championship and the U-17 World Cup.
