Former England manager Glenn Hoddle believes Victor Osimhen could have scored as many as six goals in Galatasaray’s thrilling UEFA Europa League victory over Tottenham Hotspur.
Softfootball understands that Hoddle made the observation after the Super Eagles striker netted twice but also missed several clear-cut chances during Galatasaray’s 3-2 win over Spurs on Thursday night.

The former Tottenham boss said Osimhen was a constant menace throughout the contest and praised the Nigerian’s movement and attacking presence, insisting the striker could easily have finished the match with a much bigger goal tally.
Hoddle also noted that Tottenham were fortunate on a few occasions, with Dejan Kulusevski helping to disrupt one of Osimhen’s promising opportunities.
He added that Spurs needed to raise their intensity and keep their play simple if they hoped to compete against opponents of Galatasaray’s quality.
