Victor Osimhen found the net as Galatasaray played out a 2-2 draw against AZ Alkmaar at RAMS Park on Thursday night.
However, the result wasn’t enough, as the Turkish champions bowed out of the play-offs with a 6-3 aggregate defeat.
AZ Alkmaar took control when Seiya Maikuma struck just before halftime, and Danso Kasius extended their lead 10 minutes into the second half.

Galatasaray responded through Osimhen, who pulled one back in the 56th minute. Roland Sallai then salvaged a draw for the hosts with 20 minutes remaining, but it wasn’t enough to overturn the deficit.
Osimhen has now tallied 20 goals and five assists in 25 appearances across all competitions for the Yellow and Reds this season.
