Victor Osimhen has praised his Galatasaray teammates following the club’s emphatic 5-1 victory over Kayserispor, describing the result as one of their most important wins of the season.
The Nigeria international produced another outstanding performance by scoring twice as the Turkish champions strengthened their grip at the top of the Super Lig standings.
Softfootball reports Osimhen believes the collective effort shown by the squad was key to securing such an impressive result ahead of the winter break.
Reflecting on the victory, the 25-year-old told the club’s official website:
I congratulate our team very much. It was one of the most important matches of the season. It also allowed us to widen the points gap. I am happy to contribute with two goals.
Osimhen also praised the team’s unity and determination, insisting the players are eager to maintain their excellent form when the league resumes.

he added.
The striker has enjoyed an outstanding loan spell since joining from Napoli, with his consistent goalscoring form playing a major role in Galatasaray’s pursuit of another Turkish Super Lig title.
