Victor Osimhen was on target once again for Galatasaray, netting the equalizer in a 1-1 draw away to AZ Alkmaar in Thursday’s Europa League fixture to keep the Turkish side’s European campaign on track.
Softfootball understands that the goal took Osimhen’s tally to three in four Europa League appearances this season, and nine in 11 games across all competitions for the club, continuing his prolific run since joining from Napoli.
Sven Mijnans had given AZ Alkmaar an early lead, opening the scoring just two minutes into the match. Osimhen responded in the 43rd minute, leaping to nod home a well-delivered cross from the right flank to level the score before halftime.
In Belgium, Zaidu Sanusi was an unused substitute in FC Porto’s 2-2 draw away to Anderlecht, marking a return to matchday involvement after a long injury layoff that had kept him out since February.
