Victor Osimhen has reacted to Galatasaray’s 1-1 draw against Hatayspor in the Turkish Super Lig, reports Softfootball.
The Nigeria international scored Galatasaray’s only goal from the penalty spot in the 56th minute as the league leaders were forced to settle for a point on Friday night.
Osimhen admitted that Galatasaray lacked intensity in the first half but praised the team for improving after the break. He also noted that the players created several opportunities but failed to make the most of them.
The 26-year-old urged his teammates to learn from their mistakes and maintain their focus as they continue their push for their targets this season.
Osimhen also spoke positively about his adaptation to the club since joining on loan from Napoli last September, crediting his teammates and coach for making his transition easier.
The Super Eagles striker insisted that fatigue is not an issue for the team despite their busy schedule, adding that every player must remain ready to contribute when called upon.
Osimhen has been in impressive form for Galatasaray and will be hoping to help the Turkish champions return to winning ways in their next league outing.
