Victor Osimhen continued his impressive run of form after registering an assist in Galatasaray’s 2-2 draw against Eyupspor in the Turkish Super Lig on Sunday.

Softfootball understands that the Nigerian striker has now contributed directly to goals in Galatasaray’s last two matches, underlining his growing influence since arriving on loan from Napoli.

Osimhen played a key role early in the second half, setting up Galatasaray’s second goal in the 47th minute to give the league leaders a 2-1 advantage. However, Eyupspor battled back to claim a share of the points and deny the hosts maximum points.

The assist was Osimhen’s third in eight Super Lig appearances this season and his fourth across all competitions. Alongside his creative contributions, the Super Eagles forward has also found the back of the net six times in the Turkish top flight, making him one of Galatasaray’s standout performers this campaign.

Although they were unable to secure all three points, Galatasaray remain firmly at the summit of the Super Lig standings with 35 points. Their closest challengers, Fenerbahce, sit six points behind but have a game in hand, keeping the title race alive.

Osimhen’s consistent performances continue to justify his importance to Okan Buruk’s side as they look to defend their league crown and maintain their grip on top spot.
