Victor Osimhen was among the scorers as Galatasaray edged past Sivasspor 3-2 in a dramatic Turkish Super Lig encounter on Sunday, despite being reduced to ten men early on.

Metehan Baltaci saw red just 15 minutes into the match, leaving Okan Buruk’s side to battle a numerical disadvantage for the majority of the game.

Softfootball reports that Garry Rodrigues put the hosts ahead shortly after, before Yunus Akgun levelled things up nine minutes before halftime.

Osimhen then made his mark just before the break, converting from the penalty spot after being fouled inside the box. The goal took his tally to seven for the season, along with three assists in nine league appearances.

Baris Yilmaz added a third for Galatasaray early in the second half, and although Bekir Boke pulled one back deep into stoppage time, Sivasspor couldn’t find an equaliser. The result kept Galatasaray top of the standings with 38 points from 14 matches.
