Victor Osimhen has credited his Galatasaray teammates and coaching staff for helping him settle quickly at the Turkish champions following his loan move from Napoli.
The Nigeria international has enjoyed a remarkable start to life in Istanbul, becoming one of the club’s standout performers with a series of impressive displays in both domestic and European competitions.
Softfootball reports Osimhen believes the warm reception he received from everyone at the club played a major role in his rapid adaptation.
Speaking to Galatasaray’s official website, the striker said:
It was very important to come to this team and be a part of this big club and adapt quickly. All my teammates and staff played a very important role in this. They made me feel at home from the very first moment.
Osimhen also revealed that understanding the playing styles of his teammates has helped him become more effective in attack.
I learned how Baris, Yunus and other players play. I was very happy to be able to get in between them and help them the way I wanted. We continue undefeated in the league and in Europe,
he added.
